Mission overview

Story

Part I

Hosea explains that since he doesn't take a customer to sell the moonshine to, he says that he plans to instead accept the stash to the Braithwaites, nether the pretense that he was returning lost goods, for a advantage. John leaves so he can look into potentially stealing the Braithwaites' prized race horses, for Dutch.

Upon reaching Braithwaite Estate, Hosea explains his intentions to Catherine Braithwaite, the family dame, and requests a advantage of half of what the stolen moonshine bottles usually toll. Her sons are initially hostile towards Hosea and Arthur, but Catherine orders them to stand downwardly and pay the two. Nevertheless, Catherine reveals she already knows that Sheriff Leigh Greyness was the i who had them accept the moonshine, and tells them to hand out the moonshine for free in the local saloon endemic by the Grays, for an extra $10. Hosea & Arthur comply and head for Rhodes.

A shootout ensues in the saloon, and Hosea & Arthur fight their way out of Rhodes. Once the coast is clear, Hosea & Arthur talk over the nature of the Lemoyne Raiders, and whether the Braithwaites set them upwardly. Hosea heads back to Braithwaite estate, while Arthur returns to military camp to speak with Dutch.

One time in that location, Arthur talks with Dutch and Micah almost the two feuding families, and their plan to use the feud as a ways to supposedly rob them of large amounts of money & golden. Arthur is initially unsure of whether the plan is a good idea, given the massive amount of trouble they are already in with the law. He also doesn't believe in vengeance, which is one of Dutch's motives behind this plan, equally Dutch has a deep hatred for southerners which stems from the expiry of his father during the Ceremonious State of war.

Nevertheless, Arthur goes along with Dutch's program: Dutch tries to play the Grays, whilst Hosea tries to play the Braithwaites. As for Arthur'southward next move, he can either choose to meet up with Hosea and Sean at Braithwaite Manor, to look into the Grays' tobacco fields, or meet upwards with John and Javier at Caliga Hall, to look into the Braithwaites' prized race horses. It'due south improve to take the latter mission, otherwise if yous raid the tobacco fields first it becomes unavailable.

Trivia
